Had twin babies with a married JW?!?!?!?!?!?! advice & thoughts

before i begin i just wanna say, im not proud of what i did, it was wrong but it happened now im just trying to do the right thing.. ok so im a "worldly" person and i meet a jw women at my job.

i had no idea she was married due to the fact that she hid her wedding ring.

i even ask if she was in a relationship and she denied it.

I know this is a difficult matter for you, but have you considered just letting the twins grow up without you? If they can be assimilated into the present family and raised in a good home, you'll only be a distraction. I realize they're part of you, but it might be best for everyone if you weren't there as a constant reminder of this woman's infidelity.

It might be best just to cut out and leave the twins in the care of their family. Let them bury the past for the sake of their kids. If you get involved legally, you might destroy the integrity of the family. It makes me ill to think they're going to be raised in that religion, but do you intend to undermine the religious beliefs of the kids while the couple is raising them?

What are your legal rights and wishes regarding this matter?

Since you invited all questions, let me ask a personal one. This woman hid her ring and marital status for a long time. Was she anxious to have a physical relationship? And who initiated it, you or her? Do you think she wanted a long term relationship with you at the time? And why wasn't she on birth control? Many times when twins are involved, women are actually taking fertility meds. Any chance this was the case...that she was trying to get pregnant?

I know you want to be a part of these kids' lives, but like I said, it might seriously damage the relationship of the family. Is it possible you want this woman to leave her husband and marry you, or is that not part of the equation?

The JWs use the term "congregation" for "church," and it should be the latter. In latter parlance there were seven congregations that existed within the church, and these are the seven churches spoken of by John.

A paradox occurs in Acts 19:13-19:

The people of the region saw that there was great power in the name of Jesus, but while some were justified in using Jesus' name, others were not. We don't know what motivated each group, but certainly motivation seems to be a factor. It may be the second group attempted to charge money, or attempted to use a priesthood they didn't legitimately have.

Still, it is a paradox.

so after a couple of years, i've finally re-established contact with a close relative (not revealing too much for privacy reasons).

it turns out that he is dfd (for the typical jw reasons, of course).

we caught up about a lot of things, including family.

Some Good News About Me (Although Anthony Morris Will Be Furious)

i have been accepted for university to study psychology and counseling.

my goal is to become a counselor and, in time, to specialize on treating those who have left high control relationships/groups like we all did.. it'll take a few years before im qualified but studying in university has been a dream of mine since i was 12, which was systematically dashed to pieces by watchtower.. .

Why Are More JWs Claiming to be Anointed?

most jws i know claim they are happy being in the great crowd.

they'd rather live on a paradise earth and pet lions than go to heaven.. heaven is a place they can't relate to, a place where they don't expect their friends and loved ones to be.. so why are more and more jws claiming to be of the anointed?.

aren't they looked down upon as if they are crazy, proud, ignorant, or engaging in apostate thinking?.

Well, after the first few trillion years, petting lions could get to be a bore. In fact, just about everything would get to be a bore! If one goes to heaven, one can turn their bodies to energy and span the cosmos and visit all sorts of strange new worlds, learning all the secrets of the Universe.

If one goes to Paradise Earth, one is limited to a mundane existence. Family get-togethers, vegetarian meals with all the tofu you can eat, meetings and petting all the animals you want. You can paint vivid sunsets (or sunrises), play musical instruments, attend more meetings and did I leave anything out. You might even be able to grow beards and plants.

Nah, I can see why people would want to be in Heaven.

Being wounded is one thing. Being on a horse certainly has her at an advantage, but she had a number of moralistic attitudes that may have made it difficult, or even impossible, to personally kill someone. We have no accounts of her lopping off someone's head or cutting off a hand or an arm!

There are a lot of women who are good at shooting guns, though. Don't know how they fare in combat, though. I know there are some top notch snipers, though.

Can the GB be directed by Holy Spirit and at the same time be not inspired ?

yes god directs our writings but they're not inspired, so gods directions are staggered and overlapping , so the genuine innocent believing jw has a wonderful life of overlapping bullshit.

so next time you meet a jw priest ask them what is the difference between being directed and inspired, then i promise you will hear first hand an example of overlapping bull..

The Holy Spirit can't communicate to someone without it being revelation, and revelation has to be perfect and infallible. But the Governing Body can't have it both ways. They can't be led by the Holy Spirit and have it be anything but inspired.

If they don't have the Holy Spirit, then they are blind guides leading the blind.

A person goes to Paradise or Hell because of what's in his heart. Neither is permanent; they're where you go to await the resurrection. You can't trick God by works, nor can one be saved by them. One cannot be saved without works (i.e., baptism, etc.), but one cannot be saved by them.

Does Christianity Promote Self Hatred?

i think that christianity's teachings pose a very unproductive world view and are a danger to our survival.

their teachings that man is sinful and worthy of death and in need of a savior to rescue him and free him of his sinful tendencies or else feel the wrath of god.

these things that condemn man as sinful are his own powerful drives given to him at conception which he now must deny due to indoctrination and consign to his shadow(jungian).

Nevertheless, it's one of the more repulsive doctrines we see coming out of the Protestant movement and is one of the hallmarks of Calvinism. The idea that the Father has given the Son a number of souls worthy of salvation and everyone else is lost except those souls has been hotly debated in the Protestant movement.

Not every branch of Christianity has bought into this self-hatred aspect of the religion, but certainly whole segments have and when they show us what HELL is like, it's not only self hatred but God hatred as well.
